The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will end with its fourth season, bringing Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier’s journey to a close in Spain.
Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride will reprise their roles for the final chapter, which is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ in France in 2027.
The story follows Daryl and Carol as they continue traveling through a devastated Spain while holding onto hope that they can eventually return home. The teaser shows Daryl injured, large groups of walkers, and new conflicts across the country.
Jimmy Smits joins the cast as Captain Alejandro Perkins, a former U.S. Navy officer and doctor who has established his own place in the post-apocalyptic world. His intentions toward Daryl and Carol remain unclear.
Romain Levi, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Candela Saitta, and Hugo Arbués also appear in the final season. David Zabel remains showrunner, with Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, and Angela Kang among the executive producers.
The series began with Daryl stranded in France before Carol returned during Season 2. Season 3 moved the story to Spain, and the fourth season will now complete their shared story in The Walking Dead universe.
