The New Level survived a chaotic AEW World Trios Championship defense against The Demand on the September 23 episode of Dynamite.
Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed were forced to withstand Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun in a match filled with dives, heavy strikes, and constant pinfall interruptions.
Ricochet broke up a potential three-count after Swerve connected with a 450 Splash, then answered with a 450 of his own. Austin Creed also showed his strength by lifting the much larger Bishop Kaun during the frantic exchange.
The match continued breaking down as all six competitors traded offense around the ring. The New Level eventually connected with a coordinated combination on Toa Liona, securing the deciding three-count.
Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed remain AEW World Trios Champions. They will now defend the titles again at All Out, just three days after their exhausting Dynamite battle.
