Gunther Sends Danhausen a Warning Ahead of SmackDown

The Ring General promises to make the Halloween celebration a special night

Summary

– Gunther mocked the announcement of Danhausen’s Very Nice Very Evil SmackDown

– He told Cathy Kelley that he hates Halloween and dismissed the celebration

– Gunther promised to attend next week without revealing his plans

Gunther has no interest in celebrating Halloween with Danhausen. After hearing about Danhausen’s Very Nice Very Evil SmackDown, The Ring General delivered a warning about his intentions for the show.

Speaking with Cathy Kelley backstage, Gunther interrupted the announcement to ask what the themed episode was supposed to be. Kelley suggested it had something to do with Halloween, prompting a dismissive laugh.

“Well, first of all, I hate Halloween,” Gunther said.

His criticism quickly shifted from the holiday to Danhausen himself. Gunther mocked the idea of WWE giving Danhausen a special night, suggesting the celebration was an effort to make him feel accepted.

“Everybody get together, make him feel like he belongs in a space where he doesn’t belong,” he said.

Gunther continued with a sarcastic reference to the WWE family before dismissing the entire exercise. Rather than leaving it at criticism, however, he told Kelley he intended to be there.

“You know what, Cathy? I’m going to be there next week and I’m going to make sure it’s going to be a very special night for a very special boy.”

Gunther stopped short of explaining what he planned to do. He did not announce a match or specify how he would get involved, leaving the warning hanging over Danhausen’s celebration.
