Jade Cargill’s interference ends Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley’s short reign
Summary
– Michin and B-Fab defeated Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley on SmackDown
– Jade Cargill struck Paxley behind the referee’s back
– Michin secured the championship victory with a Styles Clash
Michin and B-Fab are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after defeating Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley on SmackDown. Jade Cargill provided the decisive interference, helping her allies leave with the championships.
B-Fab set an aggressive tone against Bliss early, with the two exchanging strikes before Paxley entered. The champions found opportunities to respond, including Paxley connecting with a moonsault onto Michin outside the ring.
Bliss later built momentum against B-Fab, landing a DDT and a blockbuster for a near fall. However, her attempt at Sister Abigail did not finish the match, as B-Fab escaped and Michin tagged in.
Paxley eventually became the legal competitor and attempted a 450 splash. Michin moved, forcing Paxley to land on her feet. A subsequent attempt at Cemetery Drive also failed when Michin grabbed the ropes.
Cargill then intervened while the referee was looking elsewhere, punching Paxley and leaving her vulnerable. Michin immediately followed with a Styles Clash and covered her for the three-count.
The result ended Bliss and Paxley’s reign in their first title defense. They had captured the championships from Fatal Influence just two weeks earlier, but their partnership’s first run with the gold was cut short.
Michin and B-Fab celebrated with Cargill afterward, holding the championships that had belonged to their opponents when the night began.
