Raquel Rodriguez saves Morgan before a title match can begin
Summary
– Tiffany Stratton targeted Liv Morgan with her Money in the Bank contract on SmackDown
– Raquel Rodriguez pulled Morgan to safety before the match became official
– Stratton still holds her contract after the interrupted attempt
Tiffany Stratton nearly turned a chaotic SmackDown confrontation into a Women’s World Championship opportunity. After helping Chelsea Green and IYO SKY fight off The Judgment Day, Stratton tried to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Liv Morgan.
The opening developed after Green successfully defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez. Raquel Rodriguez interfered during the match, but SKY arrived to counter The Judgment Day’s involvement and helped Green stay in the fight long enough to retain.
Morgan joined the attack afterward, bringing Stratton into the confrontation with her briefcase. Tiffany went after The Judgment Day while SKY continued fighting alongside Green.
Morgan briefly tried to use the briefcase herself, but SKY interrupted her with a strike. Stratton followed with a kick, leaving the Women’s World Champion vulnerable.
That allowed Tiffany to turn the rescue into something much bigger. With Green encouraging her, Stratton called for a referee and tried to hand over the contract for an immediate championship match.
Morgan got back up, prompting Tiffany to hit her with the briefcase. Stratton attempted to proceed with the cash-in again, but Rodriguez reached into the ring and pulled Morgan away while Perez backed them up.
The match never officially started, meaning Stratton did not lose her championship opportunity. Morgan escaped with her title, while Tiffany left with the contract still available for another attempt.
