A brutal post-match assault on WWE Raw leaves the Alpha Academy member out indefinitely

Otis has been removed from WWE television following a violent attack by The Vision.
The angle took place during the July 27 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Otis and Akira Tozawa represented Alpha Academy against Bron Breakker and Austin Theory in tag team action.
The Vision won the match, but Breakker and Theory continued attacking both opponents after the bell.
Theory escalated the assault by grabbing a steel chair.
He then struck Otis in the head with the chair and left him down inside the ring.
Byron Saxton later announced that Otis would be out of action indefinitely because of the injuries caused by the attack.
The storyline removes Otis from The Vision’s ongoing rivalry with Alpha Academy.
It also leaves Tozawa without his regular tag team partner following one of the group’s most vicious attacks.
The assault gives Breakker and Theory additional momentum and heat heading into SummerSlam.
WWE has not announced when Otis will return to television.
