Paige later replaced Nikki as Brie’s partner and helped capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Paige and Brie eventually lost the titles to Fatal Influence at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The rivalry continued on SmackDown when Brie faced Lainey Reid in singles competition.
Brie defeated Reid following a match that continued through a commercial break.
