Nikki Bella Says WWE’s Women Will Be What She Misses Most

The Hall of Famer reflects on her legacy and the roster she calls family

Summary

– Nikki Bella says she will miss the women she inspired when she leaves WWE

– Injuries and their careers nearing an end make another match with Brie unlikely

– Nikki has described her current WWE contracts as the final chapter of her wrestling career

Nikki Bella is already thinking about what she will miss when her wrestling career ends. The Hall of Famer says her strongest memories will come from sharing the ring and locker room with women who grew up inspired by her and Brie.

During an interview with SportsRadio 94WIP, Nikki discussed whether she and Brie could have another singles match. Their injuries and the limited time left in their in-ring careers have made that possibility less likely.

“I mean, now, like after our injuries, I don’t think so. I just don’t think we’re so like at the end of our in-ring careers that I feel like it just has to be together at this point.”

Nikki and Brie signed two-year WWE contracts beginning at the 2026 Royal Rumble. Nikki has said the deal is expected to be the final chapter of their wrestling careers.

Asked what makes her proud about helping shape WWE’s women’s division, Nikki pointed to the chance to work alongside wrestlers who once looked up to her and Brie.

“I feel so lucky that I get to be here right now at this point in my career, my life, and my age to be surrounded by all these women that were inspired by Brie and I when they were young.”

She said sharing a locker room and ring with the current generation has given her career a deeper sense of purpose. Nikki added that the experience has made the sacrifices she and Brie made feel worthwhile.

“The fact that I get to share a locker room with these women, a ring, that has probably been the greatest moment of my career because it showed that everything I fought for, everything I did, everything I sacrificed, used my voice, my platform, like these are the results of all these women.”

Nikki said she will miss the roster when she steps away, describing the women as people she helped raise who have since become her friends.

Her bond with the locker room has been clear since her WWE return. She previously declined a private locker room to spend time with the other women on the roster. Nikki has also said she wants to end her career as a heel and focus on her character work.

Nikki has not announced a retirement date, but her latest comments show how much the current generation means to her. When she eventually leaves WWE, she expects those relationships to be the part of wrestling she misses most.
