946 sent a brutal message to Roman Reigns on SmackDown by surrounding and attacking Jimmy Uso as Sami Zayn looked on.
Cruz Montana, Carmelo Hayes, Lucien Price, Bronco Nima and Royce Keys joined the assault. Jimmy tried to fight back, but the group overwhelmed him and continued the beating.
Sami had earlier called himself Jimmy’s “honorary Uce” and said their bond was forever. But as 946 turned its attention toward him, Sami walked away, leaving Jimmy alone in the ring.
The faction kept attacking as commentators questioned whether anyone would come to Jimmy’s aid. Carmelo Hayes hit him from the top rope, while Cruz Montana had to be held back from continuing the assault.
Sami’s decision to leave came one day before Roman Reigns was scheduled to face the Crown Jewel challenge. The attack left Jimmy battered and made 946’s warning to Reigns unmistakable.
