Marvel’s Wolverine has reached an important milestone ahead of its September 15, 2026, release on PlayStation 5.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games confirmed that development has been completed and the game is ready for manufacturing. The announcement provides additional confidence that the major PS5 exclusive will arrive as scheduled.
Work can continue on updates and final improvements before launch, but the finished base version is now ready for production.
Insomniac celebrated the announcement by revealing Gold Claws that players can unlock and equip during the game. The cosmetic gives Logan’s signature weapons a bright gold finish.
Marvel’s Wolverine is being developed exclusively for PS5 and will not receive a PS4 version. The single-player action game follows Logan through locations including Madripoor, Canada, and Tokyo.
The title is one of PlayStation’s biggest remaining releases of 2026. Reaching gold status several weeks early gives Insomniac time to focus on final launch preparations.
