Summary

– Lola Vice and Kendal Grey defeated Zaria and Kelani Jordan in the June 16 NXT main event

– Tatum Paxley distracted Zaria late in the match after losing her title one week earlier

– Vice pinned Zaria after a back fist while tension with Grey continued before Great American Bash

Lola Vice and Kendal Grey picked up a big win on the June 16 episode of WWE NXT, but the finish came with plenty of chaos.

Vice and Grey teamed up against Zaria and Kelani Jordan in the main event. The match carried extra tension because Vice is the NXT Women’s Champion, while Grey is set to challenge her for the title at Great American Bash.

The question was whether Vice and Grey could work together with a title match looming. They had some rough moments during the bout, including tags made out of urgency and both women trying to prove they could outdo the other.

Zaria entered the match as the Women’s North American Champion and showed why she has become one of the most dangerous names in the division. She used her power to slow Grey down and later nearly put Vice away with a spear.

Kelani Jordan also had strong moments, including a submission attempt on Vice. Commentary noted that Jordan had made Vice tap out in the past, which heightened the danger of the exchange.

Grey later trapped Zaria in an armbar and nearly forced a major submission. Zaria powered through the hold, but the match broke down as all four women got involved.

The turning point came when Tatum Paxley appeared and distracted Zaria. Paxley had lost the Women’s North American Championship to Zaria one week earlier, and her arrival gave Vice the opening she needed.

Vice took advantage and hit Zaria with a back fist to score the pinfall. The win gave Vice and Grey momentum, but it also left more questions ahead of their title match at Great American Bash.

Vice stood tall at the end, while Grey proved again that she can push the champion. With Zaria still dealing with Paxley and Kelani still chasing opportunity, the NXT women’s division left the night with several stories moving at once.
