Tampa convention features major cast appearances and group photo opportunities
Summary
– Walking Dead stars headline Scaradise this weekend in Tampa
– Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan join four fellow cast members
– Cast photo opportunities are scheduled, while Lauren Cohan has withdrawn
Scaradise is bringing a strong Walking Dead lineup to Tampa this weekend. The horror convention runs October 2–4 at the Florida State Fairgrounds, with six familiar cast members scheduled to meet fans.
Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan lead the lineup. Reedus remains a central figure in the franchise as Daryl Dixon, while Morgan continues Negan’s story through The Walking Dead: Dead City.
Joining them are Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tom Payne, and Austin Amelio. Their appearances bring together actors from different chapters of the franchise, giving fans the chance to meet several recognizable names throughout the weekend.
Bernthal and Callies helped establish the original series as Shane Walsh and Lori Grimes. Payne later joined as Jesus, while Amelio’s Dwight crossed from The Walking Dead into Fear the Walking Dead.
The convention’s photo booking page lists several cast combinations. Reedus, Bernthal, and Callies have trio sessions scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Reedus and Bernthal also have duo opportunities listed for both days.
Morgan’s photo sessions are listed for Saturday. Fans can also find advertised sessions pairing Morgan with Reedus, as well as a trio featuring Morgan, Reedus, and Bernthal. Several sessions were marked sold out when checked, making current availability an important detail for anyone planning a visit.
Lauren Cohan will no longer attend despite appearing in earlier announcements. Scaradise organizers confirmed that a change in her filming schedule prevented her from appearing in October.
The remaining lineup gives Walking Dead fans a chance to meet stars from the original show and its ongoing spinoffs. Fans should check Scaradise’s official website for individual appearance schedules, photo availability, and admission details before heading to the convention.
