The former WWE champion could attract full-time interest from All Elite Wrestling
Summary
– AEW is reportedly expected to show interest in signing Sheamus
– No discussions have taken place between Sheamus and AEW
– Several AEW wrestlers reportedly support bringing him into the company
Sheamus could become one of the biggest free agents available after leaving WWE.
The former WWE star recently completed his 90-day notice period following his departure from the company. Reports now suggest AEW is interested in signing him.
WrestleVotes Radio reported that Sheamus and AEW have not yet held discussions. However, the promotion is reportedly considering a full-time deal for the veteran wrestler.
A source also claimed that several AEW wrestlers support the idea of Sheamus joining the roster. No timeline has been discussed for a possible agreement or debut.
Sheamus brings extensive experience to any promotion. During his WWE career, he became a multiple-time world champion and established himself as one of the company’s most reliable performers.
AEW has recently added several former WWE talents, including Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, the Motor City Machine Guns, and, reportedly, Ilja Dragunov. Sheamus would add another established name to the roster with championship experience.
For now, AEW interest remains only a possibility. Sheamus has not signed with the company, and there have been no reported talks between both sides.
