– Damian Priest attacked Axiom and Nathan Frazer after they confronted him

– Truth interrupted the assault and fought his former tag team partner

R-Truth returned to SmackDown on October 9 and went straight after Damian Priest, interrupting a backstage assault by his former tag team partner.

Priest was speaking with Cathy Kelley about Money in the Bank when he brought up his successful WrestleMania cash-in. He claimed he could become a champion again if he had not wasted his time teaming with Truth.

Asked where their relationship stood, Priest refused to explain himself further. He insisted he had already justified his actions and said anyone who failed to understand his decision had their own problem.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer then confronted Priest over his treatment of Truth. Axiom called his behavior wrong, while the exchange escalated into demands that Priest apologize and feel ashamed.

Priest responded with a warning before attacking both men. After leaving them hurt, he mockingly offered the apology they had requested.

Truth suddenly appeared and attacked Priest, drawing cheers as he took the fight to the man who had turned against him. His return brought an immediate response to Priest’s claims that their partnership had held him back.

The confrontation allowed Truth to fight back and left the former partners with unfinished business after another violent encounter on SmackDown.
