Norman Reedus will return to screens before the final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, with the first trailer for his upcoming horror movie Pendulum now released.
Vertical unveiled the trailer on August 27, offering the first official look at the film starring Reedus alongside Phoebe Dynevor, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Jacki Weaver.
Pendulum follows married couple Patrick and Abigail as they travel to a new-age retreat in New Mexico while trying to heal following a traumatic event. Patrick becomes suspicious of the retreat’s mysterious leader as Abigail grows increasingly drawn into the group and its spiritual practices.
The story eventually forces the couple to determine whether the retreat offers genuine healing or is hiding something far more dangerous.
Reedus appears only briefly throughout the first trailer, and details surrounding his character have not yet been revealed. His involvement remains one of the bigger unanswered questions surrounding the movie as its theatrical release approaches.
Pendulum is scheduled to open in theaters on January 1, 2027, meaning fans will see Reedus in the horror project before he returns as Daryl Dixon.
Reedus recently revealed that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 4 will not arrive until 2027. The upcoming season will also serve as the final chapter of the spinoff.
An exact premiere date for Daryl Dixon Season 4 has not been announced. Production has already wrapped, but AMC has not confirmed where the final season will fall on its 2027 schedule.
