Max Caster Announces Wrestling Break

Max Caster Announces Wrestling Break and Plans for Therapy

The former Acclaimed member addresses fans after his brief TNA run.

Summary

– Max Caster says he is taking an extended break from wrestling and plans to attend therapy

– He thanked ACW fans for their support while addressing his departure from TNA

– Caster did not announce a return date or his next wrestling destination

Max Caster says he will spend an extended period away from the ring and seek therapy following the end of his brief association with TNA.

Speaking to the crowd at Awesome Championship Wrestling, Caster acknowledged how quickly his opportunity with TNA had ended. He said he had already addressed the situation publicly and apologized to several people, but wanted to speak directly to fans as well.

Caster thanked those who had contacted him and the ACW audience for welcoming him. He also acknowledged supporters who had been looking forward to watching his TNA run and were disappointed that it would not continue.

He said he was uncertain about his next move or where he would wrestle again. His immediate plan, he explained, was to go home, attend therapy and work toward feeling comfortable in the ring when he returns.

The announcement follows TNA’s decision to stop working with him after his Bound for Glory appearance against Moose. His entrance rap referenced the deadly attacks in Riyadh, prompting criticism. TNA subsequently apologized, accepted responsibility for airing the remarks and removed the segment from replays and its channels.

Caster’s remarks describe a break rather than a retirement announcement. He offered no timetable for resuming his career.
