Max Caster Loses TNA Debut to Moose at Bound For Glory

Moose’s spear settles the open challenge in Tampa

Summary

– Max Caster lost his TNA debut to Moose at Bound For Glory

– Moose countered the Mic Drop and finished the match with a spear

– The former TNA World Champion raised Caster’s hand afterward

Max Caster’s first match in TNA ended with a loss, but Moose gave him a show of respect once it was over.

Caster answered Moose’s open challenge at Bound For Glory on October 11, stepping into the ring at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion made his entrance with a rap aimed at his opponent before the singles match began.

He had opportunities to put Moose away during the 11-minute contest. The finish came when Caster attempted the Mic Drop, only for Moose to get his knees up. Moose followed with a spear and secured the pinfall.

Afterward, Moose helped Caster up and raised his hand. It gave the newcomer a different ending to the night than the defeat alone suggested.

Caster’s appearance followed reports that he and former Acclaimed partner Anthony Bowens had become free agents after leaving AEW. His first TNA outing was a singles test against a former world champion, with Moose leaving Bound For Glory as the winner.
