Erick Redbeard Debuts in TNA and Helps syX Beat The Hardys

Interference gives syX the edge against Matt and Jeff Hardy

Summary

– Erick Redbeard debuted at Bound For Glory and helped syX defeat The Hardys

– Redbeard attacked Matt and Jeff during their Falls Count Anywhere match

– The appearance reunited him with Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw

The Hardys had more than two opponents to worry about at Bound For Glory. Erick Redbeard arrived during their Falls Count Anywhere match and helped Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw secure the victory.

The surprise came on October 11 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. Matt and Jeff Hardy were setting up an attack near the stage when Redbeard intervened, turning the closing stretch in syX’s favor.

Redbeard put both brothers through tables before the action returned to the ring. Sawyer and Shaw finished off The Hardys, giving their new ally an immediate role in the outcome.

Earlier, Jeff had delivered one of the bout’s biggest moments with a Swanton Bomb from the stands onto Shaw. That risk was not enough to overcome Redbeard’s late involvement.

The debut also brought familiar faces back together. Redbeard previously worked alongside Sawyer and Shaw in WWE’s Wyatt Sicks.

Sawyer and Shaw had revealed themselves as TNA’s mystery attackers on September 24. With Redbeard now alongside them, their conflict with The Hardys has another obstacle for the brothers to deal with.
