Xelina is officially returning to the ring following her departure from WWE, with House of Glory announcing her for its Fallout event in Los Angeles on Friday, September 4.
Previously known as Zelina Vega, she will use the Xelina name as she begins the next stage of her wrestling career. She filed a trademark for the name on July 20 and later confirmed it would become her identity while working as a free agent.
Her House of Glory appearance will mark her first announced wrestling match since WWE released her during its post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts. An opponent has not been revealed for the event.
Xelina has remained active in professional wrestling since leaving WWE. She recently appeared at WrestleCon in Minneapolis and is scheduled for a September 13 meet-and-greet in New Jersey alongside her husband, Malakai Black.
Black was also released during WWE’s same roster cuts, but he will not appear alongside Xelina at Fallout. He is booked for three PROGRESS Wrestling appearances across the United Kingdom from September 4 through September 6.
House of Glory has also announced Kyle Fletcher, Hook, and Laredo Kid for Fallout. Fletcher is scheduled to face the promotion’s founder, Amazing Red, who is Xelina’s cousin.
The September 4 booking gives Xelina her first chance to establish herself outside WWE while introducing her new in-ring name.
