TNA Reportedly Ends Max Caster Plans After Riyadh Rap

Controversial entrance lyric puts Max Caster’s TNA future in question

Summary

– TNA reportedly will no longer work with Max Caster following Bound For Glory

– His entrance rap drew criticism over a reference to Riyadh

– Caster lost his debut match to Moose on October 11

Max Caster’s TNA debut may also have been his final appearance for the promotion. False Finish reported on October 12 that TNA will no longer work with him following the controversy surrounding his Bound For Glory entrance rap.

The report said the lyric caused concern inside TNA and among its international partners. That remains a reported decision rather than a publicly confirmed announcement from the company.

Caster appeared at Bound For Glory on October 11 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, answering Moose’s open challenge. Before the match, he performed his usual entrance rap, including a reference to dropping bombs and flying to Riyadh.

The remark drew criticism because of reports of a recent attack at King Khalid International Airport. Fans questioned the timing and accused Caster of turning a real tragedy into material for a wrestling promo.

Qatar Pro Wrestling chairman Ali Al-Marafi also condemned the remarks and warned that they could affect TNA’s international relationships. The entrance video was subsequently reported to have been removed from TNA’s X account.

Inside the ring, Moose defeated Caster with a spear after countering his Mic Drop attempt. The two shook hands afterward, but the attention surrounding the appearance shifted to the entrance lyric.

Caster had entered free agency after his AEW contract expired earlier this month. His Bound For Glory booking had been announced, but a long-term TNA contract had not been publicly confirmed.
