Liv Morgan leads post-match attack on IYO SKY and Sol Ruca
Summary
– IYO SKY defeated Roxanne Perez despite trouble with her injured leg
– Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez attacked IYO after the match
– Sol Ruca tried to make the save but was also taken out by The Judgment Day
IYO SKY survived Roxanne Perez on Raw, but The Judgment Day made sure she did not leave standing tall.
The match centered heavily on IYO’s injured leg. Perez targeted the bad knee throughout the closing stretch, putting IYO in submission holds and forcing her to fight through obvious pain.
Roxanne nearly stole the match after interference from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez created an opening. Perez rolled IYO up from behind, but IYO countered into a pinning combination of her own.
IYO got the three count and picked up the win.
The celebration did not last long. Liv Morgan rushed in after the bell, but IYO knocked her out of the ring. That only gave The Judgment Day a reason to go right back after IYO’s bad leg.
The attack quickly turned into a full assault. The commentary team noted that IYO might not even make it to SummerSlam if The Judgment Day kept damaging her leg.
Sol Ruca then hit the scene to even the odds. The Intercontinental Champion came to IYO’s aid, repaying the favor from the previous week.
For a moment, Sol gave IYO the backup she needed. She helped clear Raquel from the ring and tried to turn the fight around.
That did not last. Raquel Rodriguez used her power to stop Sol and delivered a brutal attack that left the champion folded and in pain.
“Raquel Rodriguez may have just broken the champion in half. She may have a broken back.”
Liv Morgan followed by hitting Oblivion, leaving Sol down as The Judgment Day continued to control the scene.
Roxanne Perez did not win the match, but The Judgment Day still got what they wanted. Liv’s group left both IYO SKY and Sol Ruca laid out.
Liv then made the attack even more personal. She stood over IYO and reminded her how close she would ever get to the title.
“This is the closest you will ever be to my title.”
Morgan then blasted IYO with the Women’s World Championship, sending the final message before SummerSlam.
The Judgment Day did not need the official result to make an impact. IYO won the match, but Liv Morgan left Raw looking like the one who controlled the night.
