WWE airs short hype video pointing to August 3 comeback
Summary
– WWE aired a brief return video for Big Cass during the July 13 Raw
– The promo referenced how fans once saw him as “can’t miss”
– The video ended with “8/3,” pointing to the Raw after SummerSlam
Big Cass appears to be on his way back to WWE.
During the July 13, 2026, episode of Monday Night Raw from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, WWE aired a short hype video teasing his return.
The promo focused on Cass looking back at how fans once described him. He said people used to call him “can’t miss,” then made it clear that he is coming back.
Before the video ended, WWE flashed “8/3” on the screen. That date falls on the Monday after SummerSlam, making it look like the return could happen on Raw.
Cass has been away from WWE since June 19, 2018, when the company released him following reports of backstage issues. At the time, reports raised concerns about his attitude and about his ignoring creative direction during a televised segment.
After leaving WWE, Cass eventually resurfaced in AEW under the name Big Bill. That run gave him a chance to rebuild his career and show a different version of himself.
He also spent time aligned with Chris Jericho in AEW, gaining another major spotlight outside WWE. Now, the tease on Raw suggests WWE is ready to bring him back into its own picture.
The big question is whether he returns alone or with Enzo Amore. Previous reports have claimed that the Realest Guys in the Room could be coming back together.
For now, WWE has only started the countdown. The “8/3” tease gives fans a date to watch and gives Cass a clear path back onto Monday Night Raw.
Big Cass once left WWE with questions surrounding his future. Now, he may be returning with a chance to prove that he really was never someone to miss.
