Jacy Jayne is heading to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match after surviving a chaotic triple threat on the September 18 episode of SmackDown.
Jayne faced Alexa Bliss and Jade Cargill in a qualifying match featuring three of WWE’s most dangerous competitors.
Cargill used her power advantage early, while Jayne relied on her speed, and Bliss looked for openings against both opponents.
Bliss nearly won after hitting Sister Abigail, but Cargill stopped the referee’s count by grabbing the official. Cargill then turned the attack toward Bliss.
The match broke down again when Cargill countered Sister Abigail with Jaded. Cargill covered Bliss, but Jayne kicked her way into the exchange.
Jayne immediately covered Bliss and scored the three-count before Cargill could stop her.
The victory sends Jayne to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in New Orleans. It also gives the current United States Champion another chance to add a major accomplishment to her reign.
