Endless Legend 2 officially launched for PlayStation 5 on September 17, 2026, bringing Amplitude Studios’ fantasy strategy sequel to Sony’s console.
The release marks the game’s full 1.0 debut following its Early Access development period on PC. Publisher Hooded Horse and Amplitude Studios expanded the game with new factions, combat improvements, and additional content for the full launch.
Players lead one of several distinct civilizations competing for control of Saiadha, an ocean-covered world affected by dramatic seasonal changes. A recurring event called Tidefall lowers water levels, revealing new territory, resources, and potential threats.
Each major faction offers its own units, abilities, and approach to building an empire. Players can explore the world, establish cities, conduct research, negotiate with rival factions, and raise armies for tactical battles.
The full release introduces the Sandshapers as the final major playable faction. This ancient civilization wants to transform Saiadha into a desert and uses abilities designed around controlling the environment.
The Mangrove of Harmony also joins the game as a new minor faction with its own hero, units, and questline. Rogue factions include the Order of Zelevas and The Severed Claw, which provide new enemies and stories across the campaign.
Endless Legend 2 is a turn-based 4X strategy game, meaning players explore, expand, develop resources, and battle for control. It’s a changing world, and strongly differentiated factions aim to give every campaign a different path.
The PS5 release gives console players access to the complete launch version rather than the earlier development build. The game is also available for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
