SummerSlam Hell in a Cell match set after explosive RAW confrontation

Oba Femi’s first RAW appearance as King of the Ring did not go the way he planned.
WWE opened the June 29 episode of RAW with Femi standing in the ring after winning the 2026 King of the Ring tournament. The Atlantic City crowd gave him a strong reaction as he declared that he was no longer only The Ruler, but now also a king.
Femi spoke about destiny being on his side and pointed to his win over Jey Uso at Night of Champions. He was ready to address his SummerSlam choice, but Brock Lesnar’s music hit before he could make a decision.
Lesnar came out with Paul Heyman and walked straight to the ring. Femi stayed in place as The Beast Incarnate approached him.
Lesnar opened by congratulating Femi on becoming King of the Ring. He also admitted that he does not watch the show and relies on Heyman to tell him what is happening.
Heyman apparently filled Lesnar in on Femi’s comments, including Femi calling him a coward and worse when he was not around. Lesnar responded by reminding Femi that talking trash comes with consequences.
That warning turned physical fast. Lesnar hit Femi with a low blow before dropping him with an F5 in the middle of the ring.
Lesnar looked ready to leave after making his statement, but Femi was not finished. He grabbed the microphone and told Lesnar that even with him standing right there, he was still a coward.
Femi then challenged Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam. Lesnar accepted, but he raised the stakes by making it a Hell in a Cell match.
The confrontation gave RAW a massive opening segment and instantly created one of SummerSlam’s most dangerous matches. Femi may not be heading into a title match, but sharing Hell in a Cell with Brock Lesnar gives him a different kind of spotlight.
