Max Caster has responded to TNA ending its relationship with him following his controversial Bound For Glory entrance rap. In an Instagram video, he acknowledged the decision and apologized to the people who helped arrange his appearance.

Caster said he spoke privately with TNA President Carlos Silva and appreciated how Silva treated him after the incident. He understood that Silva needed to protect the promotion and acknowledged that his material had gone beyond what the executive would accept.

His apology also extended to TNA’s office and anyone who recommended him for the booking. Caster said he felt he had disappointed those supporters and regretted how the opportunity ended.

He thanked Moose for the match and remained proud of their performance, despite the controversy overshadowing his debut.

Discussing the rap, Caster said entertainment is his priority and that upsetting people is not his intention. He recognized that viewers have the right to be offended, but stopped short of apologizing for their reaction.

Caster also said provoking discussion makes him feel he has fulfilled part of his role as a performer. At the same time, he accepted that his choices carry consequences.

He described the situation as embarrassing and said being let go after one match was not the outcome he wanted. He thanked those who checked on him and indicated that he was ready to move forward, although he did not announce his next booking.

TNA had already apologized for broadcasting the Riyadh remarks, removed the segment from replays and social channels, and confirmed that Caster would no longer wrestle for the company.
