– Ripley received an S-tier ranking after discussing her WWE legacy and recovery routine
Rhea Ripley gave fans a look inside the massive home gym where she prepares for the physical demands of her WWE career.
Ripley welcomed fitness creator Jesse James West into the facility as part of his tour of celebrity home gyms. The space immediately stood out because it includes a full wrestling ring, cardio equipment, and commercial-grade weight machines.
The gym features separate machines for training the biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest, back, and legs. Ripley explained that having different equipment available keeps her workouts from becoming repetitive.
Ripley has been lifting weights since she began wrestling approximately 11 years ago. Her training has helped create the powerful appearance and physical style that have become major parts of her WWE presentation.
The former champion also showed West the pendulum squat machine she uses for lower-body training. Ripley explained that years of wrestling have affected her lower back, hips, and knees, making traditional barbell squats uncomfortable.
According to Ripley, the pendulum squat is one of the few squat movements her body currently tolerates. She generally prefers machines when training her lower body because they place less strain on areas already affected by wrestling.
The gym also includes a leg press, hack squat, squat rack, preacher curl station, and several chest and back machines. Its dumbbell collection reaches 150 pounds, giving Ripley and Buddy Matthews plenty of options for strength training.
Ripley admitted that Matthews handled much of the behind-the-scenes planning and work at the gym. She joked that she mainly benefits from having access to everything he selects.
Recovery is another major part of the setup. Ripley has access to a swimming pool, hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and a private room for bodywork.
She revealed that wrestling and frequent travel leave her body in pain. Long flights can cause additional problems with her hips, while weekly matches continue placing pressure on her back and knees.
During the tour, Ripley also explained what she hopes to accomplish during the remainder of her WWE career. Her goal is to create a legacy that cannot be denied while making as much history as possible.
West ultimately placed Ripley’s home gym in the S tier. Its wrestling ring, extensive equipment, and recovery options made it one of the highest-rated facilities featured in the video.
