PlayStation players are heading into a packed week, with more than 26 PS5 and PS Plus releases scheduled between August 24 and August 30.

August 25 gets things started with Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, Once Human, Apidya’s Special, and Blood Dungeon on PS5. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 brings cooperative Xenomorph combat back with support for up to four players. At the same time, Once Human offers an open-world survival experience built around exploration, resources, and multiplayer play.

The biggest wave arrives on August 27. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy launches on PS5 with a story set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, putting players in control of Sophia. Star Wars: Zero Company also arrives that day with a single-player turn-based tactics story set during the final years of the Clone Wars.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 is another major August 27 release, bringing more of Konami’s stealth series to PS5. The same day also includes Aggelos 2, Animal Shelter 2, Brigandine Abyss, Drop Dead: The Cabin, Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad, Infection Free Zone, Lou’s Lagoon, Mind Diver, Murders on the Yangtze River, Sword & Fairy 6, The Immortal John Triptych, and The Long Survival.

August 28 adds Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters and Once Alive. Captain Tsubasa 2 features 110 playable characters and over-the-top soccer action, while Once Alive follows two brothers attempting to survive years after a global virus devastated humanity.

PS Plus Extra subscribers also have several additions arriving on August 25. Dying Light 2, Hell Is Us, Metro Exodus, Two Point Museum, and Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash are all listed as joining the service.

With major releases spread across shooters, survival games, RPGs, tactics titles, and collections, the final full week of August gives PS5 owners plenty of new options. August 27 stands out as the busiest day, with several of the week’s biggest releases launching on the same day.
