WWE SmackDown recorded an increase in viewership for its September 4, 2026, episode on USA Network.

According to Jed I. Goodman, the show averaged 1.3 million viewers and earned a 0.29 rating in the key P18–49 demographic.

The August 28 episode drew 1.124 million viewers and a 0.23 demographic rating. SmackDown, therefore, gained 176,000 viewers while its P18–49 rating increased by 0.06.

Total viewership improved by approximately 15.7 percent from the previous week. The key demographic increased by approximately 26.1 percent.

The September 4 audience also finished slightly ahead of the comparable episode from 2025. SmackDown drew 1.284 million viewers and a 0.34 rating on September 5, 2025.

Year-over-year viewership increased by approximately 1.2 percent. However, the P18–49 demographic declined by approximately 14.7 percent.

The latest episode also finished above the corrected four-week average of approximately 1.238 million viewers. The previous four broadcasts drew 1.247 million, 1.280 million, 1.124 million, and 1.3 million viewers.

SmackDown recovered from the audience decline recorded on August 28, producing its strongest total viewership in the past four episodes.
