Cassady McClincy and Ross Marquand pull out due to scheduling issues
Summary
– Cassady McClincy and Ross Marquand will no longer appear at From Atlanta to Paris 2
– The Walking Dead convention takes place June 20 and 21 in Paris, France
– The lineup still includes several major cast members from across the franchise
Two Walking Dead fan favorites will no longer be part of an upcoming convention appearance in Paris.
Cassady McClincy and Ross Marquand were originally scheduled to appear in From Atlanta to Paris 2, which takes place June 20 and 21 in Paris, France. McClincy played Lydia on The Walking Dead, while Marquand played Aaron.
Union Conventions announced the change on Instagram and confirmed that both actors had to withdraw due to scheduling issues.
The news will likely disappoint fans who were hoping to meet them at the event. Convention changes are common when actors have production commitments, deadlines change, or travel conflicts arise.
McClincy and Marquand were both part of the first From Atlanta to Paris event in 2025, giving some fans a chance to meet them beforehand.
Marquand joined The Walking Dead during season 5 as Aaron, the Alexandria recruiter who helped bring Rick Grimes and his group into the community. Aaron became one of the few original-series characters to survive through the finale.
McClincy joined the series in season 9 as Lydia, the daughter of Alpha. Her character became a major part of the Whisperers storyline and also survived the original series.
Both characters remain alive in The Walking Dead universe, leaving the door open for future appearances in spinoffs. Aaron and Lydia could still return if the franchise decides to revisit their stories.
Even with McClincy and Marquand off the lineup, From Atlanta to Paris 2 still has a strong guest list. Scheduled names include Lauren Cohan, Emily Kinney, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Laurie Holden, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James, Michael Cudlitz, Alanna Masterson, Austin Amelio, Avi Nash, Tom Payne, Pollyanna McIntosh, Michael James Shaw, Nadia Hilker, and Callan McAuliffe.
The convention remains one of the biggest Walking Dead fan events on the calendar. While two familiar faces will be missed, Paris fans will still have plenty of cast members to celebrate with.
