The Ones Who Live premiered in February 2024 and continued the stories of Rick and Michonne after their long separation from the flagship series. Andrew Lincoln returned as Rick alongside Danai Gurira as Michonne as the two characters reunited while dealing with the Civic Republic Military.
The series was developed by Scott M. Gimple, Lincoln, and Gurira and presented as a six-episode limited series. AMC has not officially announced a second season.
