Former TNA World Champion’s second run appears to be over
Summary
– Tessa Blanchard is reportedly gone from TNA Wrestling after requesting her release
– Fightful Select reported that sources close to Blanchard said the release was granted
– TNA has not publicly confirmed the departure or given a reason for the move
Tessa Blanchard’s second run with TNA Wrestling has reportedly come to an end.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that sources close to Blanchard claimed she requested her release from TNA and received it. No reason was given for the reported departure.
TNA has not confirmed the move publicly. Company sources also did not immediately respond when contacted for comment.
Blanchard returned to TNA in December 2024 at Final Resolution. She made her comeback by attacking Jordynne Grace after Grace’s match with Rosemary, quickly placing herself back into the Knockouts division picture.
Her status with CMLL has reportedly not changed. That leaves her future outside TNA as something to watch moving forward.
Blanchard has a major history with the company. She is a former Knockouts Champion and former TNA World Champion, and she became the first woman to hold TNA’s world title.
Her latest exit ends a return that began with plenty of attention but now appears to be finished before it could fully develop into another long run.
