Travel presents a bigger challenge than the backstage pace
Summary
– Tatum Paxley says she expected the WWE main roster to be chaotic and full of last-minute changes
– Navigating downtown traffic and finding hotel parking have been her biggest adjustments
– Her SmackDown run has included an alliance with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss
Tatum Paxley expected a demanding environment when she joined WWE’s main roster. What she did not find comfortable was getting around unfamiliar cities before arriving at the building.
Speaking on Busted Open, Paxley described the main roster schedule as chaotic, with plans often coming together at the last minute. She said she arrived prepared to stay alert and adapt to unexpected developments.
That mindset helped her accept the pace. Rather than being caught off guard by changes, Paxley had already made peace with the need to remain flexible.
Travel has been a different experience. Paxley explained that driving through downtown areas, locating parking garages, and reaching venues can leave her stressed.
Finding hotel parking is a particular frustration. She said she sometimes panics when she cannot find the garage, even though she feels comfortable once inside the building.
The distinction offers a personal look at her transition from NXT to SmackDown. Handling the work itself has felt more manageable than navigating the unfamiliar surroundings that come with it.
Paxley made her SmackDown debut earlier this year following her NXT run. She subsequently allied with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
She also recently competed against Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae in a women’s Money in the Bank qualifier. As her main-roster experience grows, adjusting to life on the road remains part of the process.
