– His abilities combine shotgun attacks with acid damage and throwing knives
Glenn Rhee has joined The Walking Dead: Aftermath, giving players another familiar survivor to recruit in the mobile game.
His arrival comes through Glenn’s Target Challenge, which allows players to work toward adding him to their roster. The addition brings a playable version of the character into the game’s expanding Combat Survivor lineup.
The official character guide classifies Glenn as an Epic survivor specializing in shotguns and acid damage. He carries a tactical shotgun alongside throwing knives, with upgrades that improve his damage output and help him handle groups of enemies.
Positioning is central to his playstyle. His Stand and Deliver mechanic increases attack speed and damage while he remains stationary, rewarding players who find a safe firing position. However, his shotgun’s lengthy reload means players still need to leave themselves room to move.
His abilities offer several ways to develop that approach. Dexterity improves attack speed and reload time, while Living the Dream strengthens damage and acid effects. Other upgrades add shotgun projectiles or give throwing knives a chance to create an acid cloud.
Further progression unlocks additional benefits, including an Ultimate ability and a shockwave triggered after a full reload.
Glenn follows other recognizable characters featured in Aftermath’s recent updates, including Carol and Maggie. His addition gives fans another opportunity to build a team around survivors they know from the franchise while experimenting with a different combat style.
Players interested in recruiting him can check Glenn’s Target Challenge within The Walking Dead: Aftermath.
