Tatum Paxley made her WWE main roster debut during the August 7 episode of SmackDown.
Paxley appeared during the main event between Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill, a rematch from WrestleMania 42.
Flair and Cargill exchanged signature moves and near-falls before The Queen locked in the Figure Eight. B-Fab and Michin created a distraction that interrupted the submission attempt.
Alexa Bliss then walked onto the stage wearing an arm brace and carrying Lily.
The lights suddenly went out inside the arena. When they returned, Paxley was standing on the top rope before diving onto B-Fab and Michin.
Flair took advantage of the chaos by hitting Cargill with a Sister Abigail DDT and a Natural Selection from the top rope to win the match.
The appearance marked Paxley’s arrival on the main roster following a successful run in NXT.
Paxley is a former NXT Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s North American Champion, making her one of the few competitors to hold both women’s singles titles.
Before joining WWE in August 2021, Paxley competed in cheerleading and powerlifting. She became a two-time USA Powerlifting champion before earning a WWE tryout despite having no previous wrestling experience.
Paxley has now officially arrived on SmackDown after making an immediate impact during the show’s main event.
