Vaquer said the hardest part was being forced to stop training. After spending more than a decade wrestling and working out consistently, she found it extremely difficult to remain inactive following the procedure.
The champion described returning to the ring as feeling like she had come back to life. She said the break was necessary for her health, but she returned feeling better and remained committed to her training.
Vaquer had previously admitted that she was not at 100 percent before WrestleMania 42. She explained at the time that years of wrestling had taken a toll on her body and that she needed more recovery.
Vaquer lost the WWE Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42. WWE Unreal later showed Vaquer discussing how her body had begun telling her to slow down after years of wrestling without a significant break.
