On the June 6 episode of MLW Fusion, Shotzi defeated Shoko Nakajima to become the new MLW Women’s World Champion. The title was previously known as the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship.

Shotzi secured the victory after landing a top rope senton to put Nakajima away. The win gave Shotzi her first reign with the MLW women’s title and marked another big step in her career outside WWE.

The match was taped on February 7 before airing this week on MLW Fusion. Since winning the championship, Shotzi has already defended the title twice, including one defense in CMLL.

Nakajima’s reign ended at 308 days. She made six successful defenses before losing the title to Shotzi.

Shotzi is also currently the House of Glory Women’s Champion, giving her multiple titles across the wrestling scene. Her momentum continues to build as she proves she is staying active and dangerous after leaving WWE.
