Saints argued that the pinfall proved he could beat Fenix again. He promised the same outcome the next time they shared the ring, then challenged the champion to defend his title.
“Where is your heart?” Saints asked. “If you were the champion that you claim to be, then you have no problem putting that title on the line again.”
His message ended with a prediction for Kelley’s record book. Saints told her to prepare to write his name as the new AAA Cruiserweight Champion.
The challenge gives Saints a clear goal following their recent victory. A pin over Fenix has strengthened his case for another opportunity, but the interview did not include an acceptance from the champion or an announced match date.
