Nikki Bella had a rough month behind the wheel.
During The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki admitted that she was pulled over twice in one month for speeding. The conversation started when Alex Labbé said he avoids speeding and uses cruise control.
Brie Bella then joked that Bryan Danielson drives so slowly that she has to remind him about the speed limit. That opened the door for Nikki to share that she had been stopped more than once recently.
“I’m not going to lie, I have been pulled over twice this past month for speeding.”
Nikki said the first stop felt unfair. According to her, the officer claimed she was driving 41 in a 25 mph zone, but she insisted that was not accurate.
“One was so uncalled for. He was, ‘You were going 41 in a 25.’ And I go, ‘Actually, actually I was going…’ I mean, I was going like 35.”
Brie quickly pointed out that 35 in a 25 is still speeding. Nikki did not argue too much with the officer, but she said she made it clear that she disagreed with the number.
“No, but so in no ways I was like, ‘I’m not going to argue,’ but I did tell him, ‘I disagree.’”
The second stop happened in Virginia. Nikki said that the officer told her she was going 75 in a 55 mph zone, but she pushed back again and claimed she was going 70.
“I just got pulled over again in Virginia and I was like… he goes, ‘You were going 75 in a 55.’ And I was like… ‘Actually, no, I wasn’t. I was going 70.’”
Nikki also questioned where the speed limit sign was located. She said both officers later appeared to soften their original numbers, but the tickets still happened.
“And then I was like, ‘But where was the sign?’ It was a freeway, in the woods, whatever. Did come back and one was like, ‘OK, well maybe you were going 38.’ And this one was like, ‘Well maybe you were going like 70 too.’ And I’m like, ‘So you don’t even know the exact speed I was going. It’s not the end of the month. Do you really need a ticket?’ But I got two tickets.”
Brie gave Nikki a blunt reality check by noting that her insurance could go up. Nikki admitted she was angry, even though she tried to keep herself from losing her temper.
“Thanks. I know. You know when you try not to get really mad but, like, you’re so mad.”
Nikki may not agree with the officers’ numbers, but she still ended the month with two tickets. Now the bigger issue may be what those stops do to her insurance.
