Mick Foley joined the wrestling world’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to support Rebel as she continues her fight against the disease. The WWE Hall of Famer stood beside his longtime friend while Britt Baker poured three buckets of ice water over his head.

Foley shared the emotional video on Instagram and praised Rebel as one of the toughest people he has encountered throughout his wrestling career. He said her grace, dignity, and strength while battling ALS have left a lasting impression on him.

“In all of my years in the wrestling business, I have known many tough individuals. But I can assure you—none are as tough as my friend @rebeltanea,” Foley wrote.

Foley also encouraged wrestling fans to put promotional rivalries aside and unite behind Rebel. In reference to Kevin Owens’ recent comments about the challenge, he explained that certain causes are bigger than the tribalism that sometimes divides the wrestling community.

“I hope with this #IceBucketChallenge, we can overcome that tribalism—if even for a brief moment—and come together as a broader community for Rebel. If anyone deserves it, it is her, and it is this cause,” Foley wrote.

After completing the challenge, Foley nominated Owens, Kevin Nash, and The Rock to participate next. He ended his message by expressing his love for Rebel and delivering the fitting sign-off, “Have an ice day!”

Foley joins a growing list of wrestling personalities who have accepted the challenge in support of Rebel. Sting, Tony Khan, Harley Cameron, The Young Bucks, Anna Jay, Jack Perry, and Luchasaurus have also participated, raising awareness and encouraging donations to the fight against ALS.

The campaign has brought figures from WWE and AEW together for a cause extending far beyond professional wrestling. If Foley’s nominations are accepted, three more major names could soon help the challenge reach an even larger audience.
