Willow Nightingale interrupted the heated exchange before either woman could take things further.
Summary
– Mercedes Moné and Thekla exchanged personal insults during Rebel Heart Dynamite
– The two rivals briefly agreed while attacking Willow Nightingale’s championship legacy
– Willow stormed toward the ring and forced both women to retreat
Mercedes Moné and Thekla engaged in a heated war of words during the September 9 Rebel Heart edition of AEW Dynamite.
Moné told Thekla that she could never match her level of toxicity. She also dismissed the Toxic Spider as someone whose attitude and ego did not make her intimidating.
Thekla fired back by introducing another nickname for herself and reminding Moné about her previous attack on Willow Nightingale.
Despite their hostility toward each other, Moné and Thekla found one subject they could agree on. Both women insulted Willow and questioned her run as AEW Women’s World Champion.
Moné claimed Willow had been lucky to take her championship before quickly losing it at Wembley Stadium. She then continued mocking the former champion while Thekla encouraged her.
Their temporary agreement did not last long because Willow was listening. Nightingale’s music interrupted the segment before she ran toward the ring.
Thekla and Moné quickly escaped as Willow entered, preventing the confrontation from becoming physical. Their retreat left Nightingale standing tall after hearing both women attack her championship history.
The exchange added more tension between three of AEW’s leading women. Moné and Thekla remain rivals, but their shared hostility toward Willow could pull all three into the same championship battle.
