Ludwig Kaiser appears in WWE, as court filing suggests travel clearance for upcoming AAA match

Ludwig Kaiser Travel Request Gains Key Support

Court filing suggests prosecutors will not oppose WWE and AAA travel.

Summary

– Ludwig Kaiser appears likely to receive court approval to keep traveling for WWE and AAA

– Prosecutors indicated they do not object to his out-of-state and international travel request

– Kaiser is scheduled for a Mask vs. Mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30

Ludwig Kaiser may be able to continue his WWE travel schedule while his misdemeanor battery case moves forward in Florida.

A supplemental court filing from Kaiser’s attorney requests permission for both out-of-state and international travel. The filing states that Assistant State Attorney Shaylynne Kotch indicated the state does not object to the motion.

That development is important for Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel. WWE performers regularly travel for television tapings, premium live events, overseas appearances, and media obligations.

The request also matters because Kaiser is currently advertised for AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 in Mexico. He is set to wrestle under the El Grande Americano mask against Original El Grande Americano, portrayed by Chad Gable, in a Mask vs. Mask match.

The match has been built as a key payoff to the storyline between the two characters. With prosecutors not opposing the travel request, Kaiser appears to be in a stronger position to make the trip.

Barthel previously turned himself in on May 20 after learning that an active arrest warrant had been issued. He later posted a $1,000 bond.

The misdemeanor battery case stems from an alleged April 23 incident at the Paramount on Lake Eola Apartments in Orlando. Investigators cited witness statements, visible injuries, surveillance footage, and photo lineup identification to establish probable cause.

Barthel has entered a written plea of not guilty. His legal team continues to file motions as the case proceeds.

For now, the latest filing indicates that Kaiser is cleared to travel while the legal process continues.
