Luca Crusifino has officially stepped away from professional wrestling following his recent WWE release, confirming that his in-ring career has come to an end.
The former NXT star, whose real name is Roman Macek, shared the news on social media and explained that retiring was not an easy choice, but one he believes is right for him.
Crusifino reflected on his time in WWE and said being part of the company was a dream he had carried since childhood.
He thanked fans for every reaction they gave him throughout his run, saying every cheer, every boo, and every moment of support helped make the experience unforgettable.
He also expressed deep gratitude for the friendships he built within WWE, including with fellow talent, coaches, the creative team, and everyone he worked with at the Performance Center.
According to Crusifino, those relationships and the lessons he learned along the way will stay with him for life.
He officially announced his retirement from professional wrestling, stating that while the decision was difficult, it was the right one for this stage of his life.
He also made it clear that this is not goodbye forever, but simply the closing of one important chapter in his story.
In a lighter moment, he joked with fans not to worry about what comes next and clarified that he would not be joining OnlyFans.
Crusifino was among nearly twenty names released by WWE during the latest round of roster cuts that affected main roster, NXT, and WWE LFG talent.
He originally signed with WWE in 2022 and made his official NXT debut in 2023.
He became known as part of The D’Angelo Family faction led by Tony D’Angelo and remained with the group until July 2025.
His final WWE match took place on the March 20 episode of Evolve, where he teamed with Tate Wilder against Harley Riggins and Kam Hendrix.
Now, after four years in WWE, Luca Crusifino has decided to close the book on his wrestling career and move forward into the next chapter of his life.
After much reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter of my life.
Being a part of the WWE has been a dream ever since I was a child. Getting the chance to live out my dream in front of the world is something I’ll never take for granted. To the fans … thank you for… pic.twitter.com/RI5i8fpftV
