Haku and The MFTs sent a violent message to Bakusai during the September 18 episode of SmackDown.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki faced Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga in tag team action. Kyoki showed impressive aggression early, including a cannonball to the outside that took down both members of The MFTs.
Nakamura and Kyoki later worked together to keep Talla Tonga grounded. Nakamura hit a double-team maneuver and nearly secured the victory before Tama Tonga pulled Kyoki away from the apron.
Tama then struck Nakamura in the back, creating an opening for Haku to enter the match. Haku used a Tongan walking stick to attack Nakamura and drove the weapon into his throat.
Haku followed by chokeslamming Nakamura onto the apron. The attack left the three-time United States Champion motionless as officials rushed toward the ring.
The MFTs then turned their attention to Kyoki. Tama and Talla Tonga wiped out the newcomer before standing tall over both members of Bakusai.
The attack ended the match in a disqualification and gave The MFTs a brutal statement victory. Nakamura’s condition was not immediately clear, but Haku’s assault made it obvious that Bakusai had become a target.
