Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss put their friendship to the test during an appearance on Hot Ones Versus.
The WWE stars faced a series of personal questions and challenges while attempting to avoid eating wings covered in the show’s hottest sauce. Any refusal, incorrect answer, or failed challenge resulted in one or both women taking a bite.
Flair and Bliss began by rating several looks from their wrestling careers. They revisited their early NXT appearances, their involvement in Triple H’s WrestleMania entrance, and the outfits they wore during previous matches against each other.
Both women gave their Triple H entrance looks perfect scores. They remembered being nervous while handling parts of his costume in the darkness during the elaborate presentation.
They also discussed their recent butterfly and moth-inspired WrestleMania gear. Bliss explained that Flair wanted to represent a butterfly, so she chose a moth as the opposite design while also including a tribute to Bray Wyatt.
The longtime friends then reflected on how far they had come since meeting in NXT. Flair jokingly said fame had given Bliss better hair extensions, leading Bliss to recall losing a taped extension during a match and watching it become stuck to a referee’s shoe.
A timed guessing game forced them to identify wrestling personalities through brief clues. They correctly named several stars, including Trish Stratus, The Undertaker, Bad Bunny, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan, but failed to complete the entire stack before time expired.
Both women were required to eat a Death Wing as punishment. Flair immediately struggled with the heat and reached for milk, water, and ice cream, while Bliss attempted to downplay her reaction despite her watering eyes.
The friendship challenges continued when Bliss asked Flair to identify her favorite style of french fry. Bliss offered a clue involving the golden arches, allowing Flair to guess McDonald’s fries correctly.
Flair then asked Bliss to name her favorite match between them. Bliss correctly chose their bout from Survivor Series, remembering it as one of their first major matches together since NXT.
Bliss praised Flair’s character work and physical aggression during the contest. The two agreed that wrestlers often have better matches with people they genuinely like because they trust each other enough to make the action more physical.
Flair later faced a difficult question asking her to rank the careers of the Four Horsewomen. She refused to place herself, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Mercedes Moné in order, instead repeatedly naming herself first and jokingly placing Bliss as the fifth Horsewoman.
Rather than seriously ranking the group, Flair chose to eat another wing. Bliss joined her so she would not have to suffer through it alone.
Alexa’s husband, Ryan Cabrera, also made a surprise appearance. He asked both women which current WWE performer they would remove from the locker room forever, but the segment quickly turned against him when he was given a spicy wing of his own.
The final challenge required Flair and Bliss to draw portraits of each other. Anyone who laughed at the finished artwork had to eat another Death Wing.
Their drawings quickly broke both women, leading them to eat the final wings together. The competition officially ended in a tie.
Flair and Bliss finished by reflecting on their shared experiences, including getting tattoos and enduring painful wrestling matches together. They also looked ahead to SummerSlam and joked that hot sauce could become a weapon if their friendship ever fell apart.
