Capcom Spotlight 2026 delivered a strong lineup of updates for several major franchises.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection received new paid DLC called Additional Side Story: Rudy. The story brings Navirou back and connects him to Rudy, an ancestor of the Royal Felyne.
The DLC also adds Nergigante as a major threat. The Elder Dragon cannot be tamed as a Monstie, but players can face it during a major battle.
A free update also adds Royal Monsters as endgame challenges. Players with a completed save file can face a harder version of the final boss, then unlock stronger versions of monsters across the world.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen was another major focus of the showcase. The expansion launches on October 9 as part of a bundle for new players and as a standalone release for returning players.
The expansion sends players to Norgan, a frozen northern region tied to a Fallen Dragon and a mysterious woman named Eir. It also brings back an addictive loop of fighting enemies, collecting relics, and appraising them to craft stronger gear.
Dark Arisen also adds 12 new dungeons called Lost Rites. These areas will include rare equipment tied to past Arisen, as well as more hairstyle and tattoo options for character creation.
Capcom also confirmed more quality-of-life updates for Dragon’s Dogma 2. A late August update will add more save slots, increase weapon skill slots from four to six, and improve performance.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword closed the spotlight with a new look at Dohatsu-ten. The powerful Genma enemy uses speed, strength, and a bloodthirsty sword that becomes more dangerous when stained with Musashi’s blood.
The game puts players in control of Miyamoto Musashi, who is revived with Oni powers after being slain by Genma. Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives on PS5 this September.
