Oba Femi and Bronson Reed made their Money in the Bank match official during the September 28 episode of WWE Raw.
Femi addressed his ongoing issues with The Vision and admitted that Reed’s return had changed the situation. He said Reed had been away for seven months and missed several of Femi’s biggest accomplishments, including winning the King of the Ring tournament.
Femi then revealed a contract for a one-on-one match against Reed at Money in the Bank. He said the bout had been approved by Adam Pearce, signed by Triple H, and already signed by himself.
Reed soon appeared and accepted the challenge. He claimed the two men had already shared the ring twice and that he had put Femi down both times.
Reed acknowledged that Femi had defeated Brock Lesnar twice, but insisted he was not Lesnar. He said he was not returning to compete—he was returning to dethrone The Ruler.
Reed signed the contract, officially confirming the Money in the Bank match.
Femi responded by telling Reed that he had sealed his fate. He suggested that Paul Heyman had sent Reed to stop him, but warned that Heyman had chosen the wrong opponent.
The rivalry between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed will now be settled at Money in the Bank.
