WWE confirms major WrestleMania rematch for Turin.
Summary
– Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi II has been added to WWE Clash in Italy
– WWE revealed the match graphic during Saturday Night’s Main Event
– The rematch follows Femi’s huge WrestleMania 42 win and Lesnar’s violent RAW return
WWE Clash in Italy just gained one of its biggest matches.
Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi are now set for a rematch at the May 31 premium live event from Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.
WWE confirmed the matchup during Saturday Night’s Main Event by airing the official graphic for Lesnar vs. Femi II. The segment noted that Femi still needed to sign the contract, but the match is now being promoted for the card.
The rematch follows Femi’s stunning win over Lesnar during the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Night Two. After the loss, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots, saluted the crowd, and embraced Paul Heyman, leaving many fans wondering if they had just seen the end of his in-ring career.
That tease did not last long. Lesnar returned on the May 18 episode of RAW and attacked Femi, making it clear he was not finished with the rising powerhouse.
Later that night, Adam Pearce confronted Heyman backstage. Heyman already had a Clash in Italy contract signed by Lesnar, setting the stage for the rematch.
The updated Clash in Italy card now includes Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against GUNTHER, Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat, Rhea Ripley defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill, Becky Lynch defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca, and Oba Femi facing Brock Lesnar.
Femi scored the biggest victory of his career at WrestleMania. At Clash in Italy, Lesnar gets the chance to answer back.
