AEW Dynamite delivered a major week-to-week improvement on September 16, drawing 723,000 viewers on TBS.

The audience increased from 571,000 viewers on September 9, when Dynamite competed against the NFL season opener. That represents a gain of 152,000 viewers, or approximately 26.6%.

The key 18–49 demographic also improved, rising to a 0.16 rating from the previous week’s 0.10.

Dynamite finished second among cable programs for the night. The season premiere of South Park: South America ranked first.

The episode was also simulcast on HBO Max, though streaming viewership was not available.

Christian Cage’s confrontation with Steven Borden was the most-viewed Dynamite clip on YouTube with 267,000 views. The Demand’s attack on The New Level and Swerve Strickland followed with 205,000 views.
