AEW star returns to Toronto for Northern Rising

Adam Copeland is officially coming to Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. His appearance at MLP Northern Rising was revealed following the conclusion of MLP Mayhem on July 30.
Northern Rising will take place on October 3 at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Mattamy Athletic Centre. The historic venue, formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens, hosted many major wrestling events throughout its history.
Copeland previously expressed interest in competing at Maple Leaf Gardens during 2023. His Northern Rising appearance could now provide the AEW star with an opportunity to fulfill that longtime goal, although MLP has not announced any matches for the event.
Before heading to Toronto, Copeland is scheduled to join Christian Cage in defending the AEW Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks at AEW All In.
